The Afternoons program was recently broadcast from a ground-breaking passive house in North Beach.
Carlos Acuna was kind enough to welcome Christine and the Afternoons Show into his cool and comfortable home, which he shares with his wife, Gloria, and their two teenage kids.

When Carlos Acuna and his family moved to Perth 10 years ago, they "quickly fell in love with the place".
"We've just loved it here and feel really fortunate to be in a place like this," he said.
"But the one thing that really impacted us, and impacts a lot of ex-pats, is how uncomfortable the homes are here both ."
